John Martindale’s career has flourished over two decades of consulting with clients on financial and life planning strategies because of his personal dedication to building trusted relationships and serving the needs of his clients. The Ailsa brand arises from his ancestral heritage in Scotland and represents a call to excellence and security.
As a relationship manager, John advises his clients on wealth accumulation and preservation concepts. He is sought after for his skills in investment and portfolio analysis, tax planning, real estate transactions, insurance analysis, estate planning strategies, and philanthropic giving.
Mr. Martindale is a Registered Investment Advisor with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and obtained his CFP designation and certification from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado in 1989. He received his Bachelor in Science from Brigham Young University.
John places great value in serving his local and global community, and has been active in charitable, philanthropy and non-profit organizations since 1988. He currently serves as President of the Canyons Education Foundation (Sandy, Utah), where funds are raised to support students and teachers in the classroom, and provide college scholarships to graduating seniors. Since being named President, over $260,000 has been raised to benefit students and teachers in the classroom, along with over 30 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors.
In 1992, he co-founded the annual Mountain Shadows Golf Classic to benefit the Mountain Shadows Community Homes in Escondido, California, where he has procured over $750,000 in charitable gifts enhancing the lives of the Mountain Shadows residents. Mr. Martindale’s experience ranges from planning fundraising events to building Charitable Boards for non-profit organizations including: The Kidney Foundation, The Forever Young Foundation, Snowbird Adaptive Sports, and Mountain Shadows Foundation.
